Job purpose
The Ecommerce Logistics Manager will be accountable for defining and leading the overall strategy for the ecommerce fulfillment and  liasing with customer service and online payment functions for the brands across Europe. You will manage the logistics partners for the Direct to Consumer (D2C) operations of fulfillment and online payment processing. You will demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit, define and deliver the strategy capable of supporting the anticipated growth of the online business through 2017 and beyond.

Position in the organisation
As the ecommerce Logistics manager you will report to the Head of E- Commerce, EMEA with one direct report.

Result fields
- Develop and execute the ecommerce D2C fulfillment, D2C online payment strategy to achieve
  sustainable growth including meeting the KPIs, budgeted costs and customer satisfaction
- Analyze and assesses the effectiveness of the existing ecommerce D2C processes and current
  needs based on market competition to achieve ‘best in class’ performance with all ecommerce
- Provide leadership in the identification of specific and appropriate opportunities within the
  ecommerce business to constantly meet and improve on the D2C ecommerce KPIs.


- Deliver ecommerce fulfillment, returns process, customer service and payment strategies
  so that growth plans across all European countries is supported;
- Plan and execute process improvements for supply chain, customer service or payment types
  so that KPIs are met:;
- Ensure successful launch of D2C fulfillment, customer service and payment processing for new
  countries, regions and partners.

- Responsible for forecasting and achieving agreed service levels for Fulfillment and Returns,
  Customer services and Payment processing so that KPIs are met;
- Work with the existing W/S Operations organization so that inventory levels are maintained
  and optimized;
- Manage relationships as prime ecommerce D2C contact with internal Supply chain,
  Retail Operations and Customer services so that relevant stakeholders across the organization
  are knowledgeable about the ecommerce requirements;
- Manage the roster of ecommerce operational vendors to deliver efficiencies to encounter
- Manage suppliers to deliver additional services and projects so that improvements are
  delivered to agreed standards, on time and within budget;
- Manage issues and support tickets raised with vendors so that timely solutions are delivered;
- Analyse and advise on D2C operational requirements for ecommerce platform so that best
  practice improvements are implemented efficiently;
- As the ecommerce business grows, build the internal ecommerce operations team so that
  targets and KPIs are met in an efficient manner;
- Negotiate with current and any new vendors to receive best in class service.

- Effectively communicate with all external logistic partners;
- Partner with internal departments, including Wholesale Supply Chain, Retail Operations, IT
  and  Customer Services and advocate the ecommerce strategy to deliver to agreed
- Support internal teams and departments with D2C ecommerce operational knowledge so
  that ecommerce sales channel becomes prominent across the minds of the organization;
- Produce weekly and monthly reports by function (D2C fulfillment and online payment
  processing) so that  effectiveness and progress of processes is clear;
- Produce and distribute high level reports on consumer feedback, including trends to teams
  and stakeholders to retain and build a consumer centric focus.

Knowledge and experience

- 6+ year experience with a minimum of 3 years proven experience in an ecommerce warehouse
  and fulfillment management position preferably in an international environment;
- Understanding of ecommerce warehouse processes (pick and pack, couriers, returns, product
- Knowledge of Direct to Consumer service best practice;
- Knowledge of customer satisfaction analytics and feedback tools;
- Experience of setting, monitoring and managing KPIs and service levels with external vendors;
- Knowledge of how to optimize across Wholesale, Retail and ecommerce service channels;
- Knowledge of payment processing processes and KPIs;
- Commercial knowledge of European online industry standards and legal requirements;
- Knowledge of ecommerce business processes and analytical skills to implement
- Fluent in English both verbal and written and preferably a second European language would
  be a plus.
