Job purpose
Our customer is a rapidly transforming and globalising organisation. This is being enabled in part through an extensive Enterprise Systems implementation (SAP). As each region moves towards a global “one way of working” approach, the organisation to support the new global set up is built. In this role you will be responsible for the regional support organisation for the EMEA activities and others ensuring effective service delivery to support strategic business development. You will be responsible for building the support organisation and setting up the service delivery structures.

This position will be located in the Amsterdam area. Travel to other office locations may be required from time to time.

Position in the organisation
Reports to Global Head of Operational Excellence and Programme Delivery.

Result fields
- Further build the  strategy to manage service levels/requirements to deliver optimal business
  outcomes;
- Builds and leads a high performing technical team that delivers: Business Support  by
  providing technical  experts to work with the IT-Business Partnership, IT Portfolio;
- Application management;
- ITIL processes;
- Ensures that all development and configuration work adheres to rigorous quality assurance
  standards;
- Prioritise and categorise service requests; related to both SAP FMS and interfaces;
- Proactively consider and identify internal and external resource conflicts;
- Provide application and business subject matter expertise for effective service delivery;
- Tracks and drives resolution on open questions, issues and risks as well as assist the
  project  leads in developing risk mitigation plans;
- Develops long term vision/strategies for the Regional Enterprise Support (RES) team and
  accountabilities to ensure that short-term tactical initiatives are executed;
- Drives collaboration within the RES group, across IT and, as necessary, with business
  customers and global process owners;
- Aligns RES priorities with business direction and IT strategy;
- Support the management of resources to create test plans that cover end to end business
  scenarios with specific focus on cross platform dependencies;
- Consider availability and readiness of test landscapes and data to support regression
   testing.


Requirements

Knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and experience;
- Over 10 years experience in IT applications leadership position (SAP);
- Strong experience prioritising service requests;
- Experienced in developing and delivering strategy;
- Experience working in multicultural and virtual teams;
- Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in another European language
  would be an asset.
