Following the vision, our customer will grow from running SAP like a factory into a fully integrated business orientated Center of Excellence (CoE). So it’s all about Business & IT in one! The CoE is responsible for supporting the newly implemented SAP FMS solution.

Job purpose
The organisation is rapidly transforming and globalising  This is being enabled in part through an extensive Enterprise Systems implementation. As each region (EMEA, APJ and Americas) moves towards a global “one way of working” approach, there are many dependencies and business critical events to be considered.

As Functional Analyst you are supporting the global SAP team as part of the global ERP implementation and ongoing support, with a primary focus on Retail stream (controled space). You will support global wide organisation and business process owner for Retail to deliver operational excellence, through outstanding functional support for the Retail business solutions, to ensure that current and future business requirements are met. Furthermore you enable the transformation of existing business processes to identified global standard through supporting organisational change management.

Position in the organisation
In this position you reports to the Centre of excellence (CoE) Manager.
This position will be located in Amsterdam area.

Result fields
- Main focus area is to be point of contact for the controlled space project and ongoing
  support to the DtC department;
- Manage the on boarding and successful management of the Controlled Space stores
  as agreed with the DtC department and project;
- Work in the SAP CoE and project team to execute the Retail related projects and ongoing
  deliverables, functional scope and key milestones;
- Work with other functional and technical teams to consider any interdependencies/
  dependencies relating to the Programme and support including global landscape
  considerations;
- Provide functional support for all approved change requests, system enhancements,
  system maintenance & upgrades;
- Follow project governance procedures as established by the Programme team;
- Provide in-depth technical / business process advice for the Retail stream, fully engaging
  with the process to transition the Global Template solution into the SAP CoE;
- Establish and maintain a highly effective relationship with business representatives across
  the global and regional environment;
- Anticipate business issues and manage them to minimise impact: analyse problems,
  action and progress issues as appropriate, ensuring follow through to resolution;
- Provide 2nd / 3rd level support to the business users via tickets received from the Service
  Desk – including service, incident and change requests, and providing 3rd level configuration
  support as required.
- Provide support before, during and after Go Live to the key user community.

Representation and cooperation

- Be an ambassador for the project and CoE both internally (at all levels of business) and
  externally;
- Support collaboration and cooperation between business and IT functional leads groups
  within the project;
- Support coordination and cooperation with other departments to support the realisation of
  own objectives;
- Share knowledge and information with key user community.

Communication
Internal:    
- Communicates with global and regional executive teams both verbally and written;
- Supports communication to business user community and other stakeholders.
External:
- Represents organisation with key project partner and customers with controlled space stores
  where needed.

Requirements
Knowledge and experience
- 3 - 5+ years’ experience in similar role;
- Experience with SAP Retail;
- Experience with controlled space or simular environments within retail industry;
- Experience with interfaces and monitoring:
- Experience integrating with POS systems;
- Experience working in multicultural and virtual teams;
- Good command of written and spoken English.
