Overview
The organisation is in the middle of setting up a Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) for the EMEA region. To further support the set-up and the continuous success of our FSSC in the Netherlands, we like to get in touch with a Team Lead General  Ledger Accountant who possesses strong leadership and  coordination skills. 

As Manager GL Accounting you are supporting in setting up and improving the processes and position of the  international and multilingual GL team. On short term your focus will be on the tranisition of the Geman GL activities towards the SSC. You are keen on your personal development but also on the development of the team, the GL department and the finance processes. This position combines tactical general ledger activities with strategical projects regarding continuous improvement. You play a key role in driving change and efficiency, and building a best in class Shared Service Centre.

In this position you will report  to the SSC Manager.

Responsibilities
- Being end responsible you will give direction to the operational GL activities;
- Stakeholder management on strategical and tactical level;
- Lead in coordinating cross departmental activities;
- Besides your GL responsibilities, it is thinkable you will also be responsibility for consolidation
  and reporting aciivities;
- As a professional you drive initiatives in cross departmental projects regarding continuous
  improvement and optimization of financial, reporting and business processes. This also is
  driving  process optimization through automation (blackline) and robotization, but also
  sensible process adjustments.

Qualifications
- Completed higher professional education/HBO or Bachelor/Master in economics,
  finance and/or accounting;
- Proven track record as Team Lead or Senior with coordination responsibilities;
- Experienced in process improvements;
- Strong leadership and coordination skills;
- Fluent in English;
- Experienced in a Shared Service Centre setting;
- Excellent social and communication skills;
- Highly flexible attitude, and enjoy driving change and efficiency.

- Know how to take and create opportunities for yourself and the organisation.
